Walking the road of infertility raised a lot of hard questions.
Will we ever have children?
Why, when we have so much love to give, are we unable to have children?
What does life look like without children?
These are tough, soul-searching, faith-challenging questions.
One of the hardest, however, came down to who I was if I wasn’t a mother.
Who was I?
What is a woman in God’s family, if she isn’t a mother?
This question shook me to my core. I felt shattered and broken as a woman.
Today I am so thankful to be starting a new series on Held called God’s Girls: a series of posts designed to help us root our identity in who we are in Christ rather than in the roles we fill as women.
Will you join me over there today as I launch the series? Oh thank you!
